General Service Representatives
*Delegate
Represents Area 21 at the General Service Conference (GSC) and beyond—attending meetings, sharing
communications, visiting districts, and organizing workshops.
Area Support: Assemblies, travel budget, tech/communication systems, district visit support.
*Area Chair
Coordinates all Area activities. Appoints and supports committee chairs (Archives, Corrections, CPC, Grapevine,
GSR Workshop, Literature, PI, Structure & Policy, Treatment, Web-Tech).
Area Support: Assemblies, travel budget, tech tools, workshop and communication infrastructure.
*Registrar
Maintains group and contact data, assists with registration/updates, and supports communication between area
servants and members.
Area Support: Assemblies, travel budget, data systems, and workshop support.
*Recording Secretary
Documents and distributes accurate minutes from Assemblies and other meetings.
Area Support: Assemblies, travel budget, recording/tech assistance.
*Alternate Delegate & Alternate Chair
Support service work and prepare to step in as needed. Attend Assemblies, meetings, and workshops.
Area Support: Travel and meeting budget, service experience opportunities.
*Treasurer
Manages contributions, budgets, and payments for all Area activity. Reports to the Assembly.
Area Support: Assemblies, travel budget, budget process, contribution forms, financial transparency tools.
*DCMs (District Committee Members)
Link groups to the Area and Delegate. Share district conscience and request workshops or support.
Area Support: Open communication, service support (districts fund DCM attendance).
*Committee chairs
Archives, Corrections, CPC, Grapevine, GSR Workshop, Literature, PI, Structure & Policy, Treatment, Web-Tech.
Area Support: Assemblies, travel budget, recording/tech assistance.
